My senior portrait pricing is designed to help people save money while getting high-quality prints with quick turn around. There are no hidden costs and you don't need a math degree to understand my pricing system.
The process is straightforward and designed to have the best photos possible in your home quickly.
The $150 Price
The $150 Price option is a portrait session with as many poses and outfits as can be squeezed into approximately one hour. I then go through the pictures, pick out about twenty and work my magic. The prints are all a la carte in the Nextproof site. If you only want one or two prints, this is the option for you. The disk of the twenty adjusted and duplicated in black and white images for this package is $350.
Please note: I edit the photographs made during the session and pick the photographs to be adjusted and sent to the NextProof site for purchase. Most of the photographs will be done in both color and black and white for you to have more choices.
The $400 Price
The $400 Price option is a portrait session lasting approximately 90 minutes with as many poses and outfits as can be squeezed into the time. We then go through the pictures, pick out around 35 – 40 images, I adjust these images later and email thumbnails to you. You pick out whatever picture or pictures you want and I make $300 worth of prints to be mailed to your house. The prints you order and the prices are all on the Nextproof site. Extra images on Nextproof are all a la carte and the CD of these images is $350.
I dare you to find a better portrait photographer cheaper than this doing senior portraits in Bend.
The print prices range from $50 for 8 x 12 and smaller. The smaller prints are all cut from an 8 x 12 sheet. So for $50 you get 8 wallets, 4 4x5’s and 2 5x7’s. A 24 x 30 print costs $100 each.
Almost all the photos picked out are converted to black and white options. So you’ll get the color master, a black and white and some of these photos are doubled again using other techniques such as soft focus and cross processing. Each photo has the potential to be done several times using different processing techniques. These adjustments and choices for duplicating using other processes are all made by me and are done on a computer calibrated to match the prints done by my printer in Colorado. Any additional photographs you want changed or adjusted will cost $25 per picture.
You Choose Raw Photos
Immediately after the $400 photo session, you look through raw photos on a computer screen to see what I see when I'm editing. I show you how to mark your favorite photos, then I edit and place them online.
Why so quick? Remember, I'm a news photographer trained to get the shot the first time around. The equipment I use and the way I use it create great pictures instantly - there's nothing to hide or try to cover up.
Turnaround
Within 48 hours of the session I go through the pictures we pick, adjust them and pick out some for printing in black and white and in other creative ways. Every photo changed to black and white will have the color original included. Then I upload them to my online gallery and email you when they're done.
When you order your prints through my online gallery, Nextproof, I get the order and ship the digital negative to the printer. The printer ships them directly to your home. This process takes about four working days.
