Senior portraits

I produce creative senior portraits using a battery-powered studio light designed for location fashion photography - I'll go anyplace in the Bend area to shoot your senior portrait. My prices are lower than anyone in town and the quality is incredible. Prints are included in the base price, the disc of adjusted photos is for sale and the pictures are for sale on a password protected website.

Central Oregon Weddings

You're at the right website if you're planning destination wedding in Bend or at the many resorts around Central Oregon. A few years ago I formed a wedding photography team with Australian photographer Todd Martyn-Jones. We offer competitive prices and you'll have great fun with us shooting your big day. Our photography styles are slightly different and give you a wide range of pictures to choose from. We never miss a moment and blend in with the crowd while working. Family Portraits

Anyone with a camera can do a family portrait, but a working photojournalist will combine the three elements of a great picture: light, composition and emotion. I shoot only location portraits using the same portable fashion light and can make great pictures of you and your family in any situation. The prices and and print structure are the same as for my Bend senior portraits to save you the hassle of trying to figure out how it all works.

Landscapes

Landscape photography is my original photographic style and something I love doing and sharing with people. My fine art prints of national parks and other amazing locations are priced to sell - a good fit on the walls of your workplace or home. My landscape gallery is 17 years in the making and I'm always going on road-trips to make new images.

News

I began studying photojournalism at San Francisco State University in 1994. I took my first photography job at the Telegraph Herald in Dubuque, Iowa in 1997. In 2000 I moved to Bend to work at The Bulletin. Over the course of 14 years of continuous newspaper work, my photos have been published in major national newspapers and magazines including Time, Sports Illustrated, Skiing, Outside, Geo and some Japanese publications as well. A picture I took in 2007 was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and my work has won numerous prestigious local, state, regional and national awards.
